If true, what does this mean for Hasselblad? Business as usual with just a new cash inflow? Or does this mean that when you try to develop a 'consumer' medium format product you need much deeper pockets because you are no longer charging $45k per body to fund development? Is it the end of boutique digital medium format makers and the beginning of the rise of new competitors like Fuji? An opportunity for Pentax to introduce a full frame 645 at a reasonable cost?
