the file size is of course different 
but one other thing i noticed:
if you convert the M8 jpegs on photoshop so that the print size is 4x6 inches. the jpegs convert exactly to 4 x 6 without any cropping.
but if you process a DNG file into a jpeg and try to convert that jpeg into a 4 x 6, you don't get exactly 4 x 6. i keep getting 4 x 5.947 inches instead.
anyone know why this is?
