Very nice picture Bill. That's the kind of smooth out of focus rendering you will not get with a digital camera, even with a very expensive back. And that's why I think I do love my G690...
BTW, what's wrong with the shutter on your 180mm?

Nothing wrong with the shutter (in the lens) of the Fuji, I said that wrong. What's wrong is that my shutter release does not want to give up. You know how when you wind on, the winder locks when you're ready to take the next shot? Well, my winder won't let go even AFTER I take the next shot. If I want to advance to the next frame, I have to press the shutter release down a second time, hard, and hold it while beginning to crank the winding lever. Once the winding lever begins to move the film forward to the next frame, I can let go of the shutter release button and it advances as it should from there. Next shot, same thing all over again. Most annoying. I can still use the camera, but it is a pain to do it this way.

I had a similar problem with my GSW 690 II which eventually was completely stuck. I actually opened the top of the camera and after some very intensive study of the mechanism I found that a small metal tongue connected to the shutter release mechanism disengaged the winding mechanism lock after triggering the shutter release. This small metal tongue had - for a reason I don´t know - been slightly bent resulting in that the winder mechanism was not unlocked after exposure. Bending it back a couple of millimeters solved the problem.
There might be differences between the GSW 690 II and your G 690 but I think that the interior winding mechanisms are similar.
Your problem should be quick fix for yourself if you feel up to opening the camera or an even quicker fix for a camera repairman. But I suggest you get it fixed. I guess that the way you use the camera now might put a lot of stress on the winding mechanism.
Hope this helps. Good Luck!

wonderful photo! it's very impressive yet the tonal range is very familiar to me, as I often shoot Nepan 100 ACROS with my 180/2.8 Sonnar... I'm curious to know what kind of sonnar lens you are mounting on the fuji 690? mine is for my Pentacon Six.
