Does anyone recognize this flash connector?

Hi all,

I got this dinky unbranded flash in a free box full of darkroom equipment. Obviously it's not . . . professional grade by any stretch, to put it politely, but I figured it would be cool to have -- technically -- a bare bulb flash to light locations such as car interiors without spending $100-plus bucks.

The unit's corded plug puzzles me, however. Presumably it plugs into a battery pack, but I've never seen a pin configuration that's remotely similar. Googling pictures of historical flash connectors was no help, nor were any of the old photo catalogs I was able to locate online.

If anyone has experience with or recognizes the connector, I'd appreciate your knowledge!

@lynnb Oh, absolutely, always a good reminder. I'm planning on Frankensteining a transistor into one of the cheap-o Amazon Special radio triggers I have laying around.

@Bernd28 That's the one, thank you! Turns out it's professional grade after all.
