Does Leica x1.25 Maginfier fit on Epson R-D1?

Hi, I am just wondering if Leica x1.25 viewfinder magnifier fits on Epson R-D1.
Did anyone try it?

I'm guessing that the R-D1's eyepiece diameter is too large, but I don't have a Leica to measure for comparison.

I believe some models of Nikon gear have the same eyepiece as the RD-1... FM-10? And I hear there's a Nikon eyepiece magnifier that will fit.
