Yes, folks -- another bag thread.

I'll cut to the chase. Currently, I am using the LowePro Inverse 200 with my Fuji X kit.

Along with the X-Pro 1, this bag holds the Fuji 14mm, 18-55mm, 35mm and (recently added) 55-200mm lenses. Until the acquisition of the 55-200, that compartment housed my Rokinon 8mm fisheye lens. Now that the family has grown, I am looking for something slightly larger that incorporates some of the features of the Inverse:

• Provision for a waist belt (either built in or optional) in addition to the shoulder strap.

• Access lid that opens to the side or away from the user.

• Ability to attach compact or tabletop tripod.

• Not too bulky. (Yes, now we are approaching Bigfoot territory)

My mirrorless setup fits within my Domke F6, but I have never been too keen on the top flap and metal buckle arrangement. The interior depth (front to back) is perfect at 5.5 inches, and allows me to have the lenses in the four-compartment insert. The advertised interior depth of the Inverse is 6 inches, but this is incorrect as it measures at 5 inches. If I had that extra inch, I wouldn't be making this post.

So, my fellow forum members -- does such a bag exist, or am I searching for a mythical creature?

Check out the Thinktank Speed series of beltpacks (Demon/Freak/Racer). It has loops on the side of the bag (throughout the belt) that you can use for a compact tripod. The interior depth of the largest one (Racer) is 7 inches.

You could always just attach a lens pouch to the side of your current bag.

This is cheaper than getting a whole new bag, plus it gives you more options. If you just want to go for a walk with 2 lenses you can put the camera with 1 around your neck/shoulder and the lens pouch on your belt with the 2nd lens.
