Ok, I'm stumped; the X100T wireless function keeps returning a "can't connect" with FW1.10, the Fuji app, and a current iPhone 6. Yes, I am following directions. Anyone else have this issue?

It works fine for me here... just turn on wireless on the X100T, connect to the X100T wifi network with my iPhone, and open the Fuji cam remote app.

I am using an iPhone 4 so I don't know if that could possibly be a factor, but the FW update definitely didn't break the wifi connection for me at least.

One issue with the current Fujifilm WiFi software and iOS has to do with re-establishing the connection. The when the camera WiFi is turned off, iOS will default to "remembered" WiFI sources. Either automatic mode has to be disabled on the iOS side or competing networks must be deleted from the iOS list.

Away from home this is not an issue. But practicing or simply using WiFi for work at home is frustrating. With an EyeFi card this inconvenience would be perpetual.

Otherwise, the in-camera WiFi is great. The Remote Camera App is acceptable but would benefit from further development. Clients love to stage scenes in real-time walking around with my iPad viewing how the lens sees a room in real time.

CamRanger's (who does not support Fujifilm) product is slightly better. However it costs more and is a separate unit (less convenient).

Willie_901 - agreed. The app is slow and a bit stuttery. Panasonic's app is much, much better. I've had an easier time with the Mobi and its contemporary iOS application.

Really, for ultra-short ranges like this, Bluetooth would be a little less touchy on an iPhone; the precedence-of-connection list with WiFi is something of a pain to work around.

I forgot to mention the WiFi range is excellent.

I was photographing a multi-room shot in a residence so I had flashes firing remotely in three rooms. I could stand in the most distant room (at least 30 ft) and adjust the flash power, take operate the camera remotely, adjust the light position and power as needed. The signal made it through several walls.
