I thought I would give a heads up on this. Someone donated a Special Edition M6 TTL, complete with 28/2.8 Elmarit.
If anyone wants to donate even a regular M6 to me, I would be extremely grateful, and be sure to pay it forward.
So, I occasionally browse shopgoodwill and came across this auction today. It is not quite in my budget anymore, as it just passed $3300, but compared to KEH prices it is still a good deal.

It is a LHSA special Edition. Only M with the Solms designation on it. Otherwise it is a stock M6TTL.

It wouldn't shock me any less to see a stock M6TTL donated, but the bids probably wouldn't be quite as high and I could actually bid on it..

Just noticed a decent chrome Nikon F with 50mm 1.4 lens has 6 days left on auction!

In all fairness to the auction, the M6 ttl LHSA model does feature a black paint finish too. Functionally, yes it is a straight-up M6 ttl.

I believe 98% of the auctions start at $1 as well, and the listings are quite basic because they are not camera collectors. Most of the time it is whatever they can copy off the camera and lens, as in this case. I do think Goodwill is doing pretty well on this donation.

I don't want to be near that person when it donned on him (very unlikely a she) that the amount paid is ridiculous.
