I have a Colorgetter III Pro and decided to start it up after 8 months of no use. I noticed the ColorRight software 2.0 won't recognize the dongle and won't allow me to save my scans. Any ideas? I am using a Mac and the IBM computer connected to the scanner.

Were there any changes like software updates? Might be a port setting or dongle driver issue if it has one.

No software update computer is not connected to internet. I started scanner first, waited a couple of minutes then turned on computer. They may have affected the connectivity. Before scanning I was able to name the file and supposedly save it to a folder , but after the image was scanned in the final scan stage, the image wasn't in the folder. I then restarted the Mac and I think it might have connected this time, but I didn't have enough time to test. I also ran the ColorRight Pro 2.0.1 software instead of 2.0, that might make a difference. I also have ColorRight PRO 5.0 but it stated something like a certain software had to be updated? I could run the scanner tomorrow and take pics.

My two cents, driver. Go online and download the latest driver for this thing. Cheers, OtL
