The Fuji 16/1.4.... I’ve hopped on the Fuji mirrorless bandwagon and currently own the so-called Fujicrons - 23/35/50 f2.0... Images from the 16/1.4 look magical, especially wide open. Loving the Fuji jpeg images straight out of camera, using the simulations (Classic chrome and ACROS).

I finally pulled the trigger on that Fuji 16/1.4 lens and got a $100 discount. I went back and forth between buying used or buying new. In the end, I decided to buy new from Adorama's ebay store. With expedited shipping, I should get it in time for the holiday weekend.

I was enormously tempted last night. I scrolled through my swollen watch list like a kid in a candy store. All those pretty cameras and lenses....
Ultimately I had to admit to myself that I’ve bought an awful lot of photography stuff lately and should probably exercise a little self-control. Prudence isn’t a whole lot of fun but it’s easier on the wallet so I let the 15% coupon slip quietly away.
