Odd really, and unexpected.
I bid and won an Olympus 35SP advertised as being in good condition - the one seal needing replacing having been done. Price was reasonable and P&P spot on for 'next day' delivery. In fact no packing charge at all.
The camera arrived and on inspection seemed just right.
However on opening up and using an eyeglass ( poor old bloke!) it was obvious that all the seals except the one replaced were not just suspect but actually non existant in places. So I have Jon Goodman's instructions on how to do the resealing, but do I really want to? And if the seals are as bad as this, is the rest of the camera OK.
Email to the seller who expresses some surprise, but says if not happy, return camera for full refund.(!)
Camera returned.
Seller not only refunds the purchase price of the camera, but the cost of posting it to me, AND, my cost of posting it back.
So I am disappointed in not having the camera, but, what great service from the seller.
