just got a nice canon hood - s50 - for 4 bucks.
i checked with 'kevincameras', they have 2 for sale, one for 40 bucks and the other for 75 bucks!

Wow, good deal. I think I need to do a search for a Canonet hood. Need to figure out what kind I need first I guess.

I saw a Canon 50/1.2 in LTM this morning on a camera show - the guy asked EUR 200 for it. However, it had some smudges on the fron t element, and, knowing the guy who was selling it, I passed. Still, looked like an interesting lens.
I also saw heaps of old Russian gear (Feds, Zorkis, etc.), and some other interesting stuff. Took a few shots with my Kiev - hopefully will post a photo or two when I develop the roll.
Surprisingy, some of the sellers were really interested in Jupiter 12 on my Kiev... It's not a lens they see often, since Kievs here usually come with either the J8 or Helios 103.
I just hope I've fixed that J12 - otherwise there will be no photos to post
