So I have been using my R3a for about 6 months, and generally I am very happy with it; I don´t have any trouble seeing the 40mm framelines, and just love the finder (the finder being the main attraction of this camera, I think).
I do, however, find it a bit difficult to focus in low light. I know that rangefinders are supposedly several times more accurate than SLRs in focussing up to about 90mm lenses, but I´m not sure if "accuracy" equals "easy to focus and feel confident that focus is right". So my question is; is the superior EBL of the Zeiss Ikon reflected in ease-of focus, or is the difference in EBL rather a mathematical matter? I have read reviews that notice no such (ie easy-to focus) difference between a Leica M7 or MP and the Ikon, although there is some difference in EBL here also.
Any Ikon and R3a users with 1. hand experience on this?
I have, by the way, tried to search for a relevant thread, but no real luck in this.
Thank you all.
