Efke is dead. Long live Efke! - New ADOX CHS 100 II announced!

Since the demise of Efke, Adox announced that they will try to make new films in order to substitute the Efke films (Adox used to sell rebranded Efke films as their Adox CHS line).



It's now officially announced:

There will be a new Adox CHS 100 in different formats (35, 120, LF).

Any news on 127 sized film? I know none was sold as Adox, but they seem the best bet as they're remanufacturing Fotokemika films...

Yes. Very cool that PhotoImpex has 9x12cm Ilford HP5+, and 6x9cm Adox CHS in stock. Will have to order some soon.

They are working on a replacement for the CHS 25/50.
Mirko spoke of a film around 32 ASA.
So no CHS 25 or 50 II , but something new in the slow speed area will come.

I desperately want a replacement for 35mm CHS 50 that is the same. Though a better version in 120 would be nice. I'd also really like to see it in 4x5 and 8x10. I wouldn't mind 127, but could live without it. I have some CHS 25, but have yet to shoot any.

June 2013, and Large Format... I wonder what the first formats will be. Presumably 35mm and 120, I would love to see 4x5 might be included. I also wonder how soon Freestyle here in the US will get some!

If that's it, it'll be cheaper to buy better quality Kodak or Ilford films.
