I've picked up a Junker GSN for next to nothing recently and I have to oppurtunity to pick up a GL for about 30US.
I am interested in the Electro series because I wanted to shoot low light dance photos, Delta 3200 @ 1600 developed in PMK. The leaf shutter really have an advantage especially for movements. (faster opening to full aperture)
I understand the GL had a above lens sensor, does it work well compared with the in-body sensore of the GSN?
I have stripped the GSN to bits already and I am already familiar with repairing the thing, can anyone comment if the GL is easy to service as well? I can see the above lens sensor would be a bit of an issue for stripping and cleaning fungus from the lens.
One more thing, why did the Electros had lozenge shaped RF patch? Is there any special advantage to that? I realy an not getting very use the the strange shape and I am thinking about replacing the mask with a square one from a Lynx.
