hi, am eyeing on one but the seller said it has some etching on the bottom. wonder would that have any negative impact to the camera itself? should i buy it?
+ is the GSN differ a lots from the GS? feature wise and pic quality wise?

The GS and GSN are excellent picture machines. Etching on the bottom plate of the camera will not affect its "picture taking" whatsoever.

I have read that If one of these cameras has any kind of ingraving on the top or bottom plate, such as the past owners name or ID number, DO NOT BUY IT !!
I think this was on Matts web site.
The vibrating electro engraving process will mess up the electronics inside the camera.
As far as the difference, GSN has hot shoe for flash. GS/GT has cold shoe.

I think GS/GT also has a lower max ISO for the meter. GSN's 1000 comes in handy sometimes (like, neopan1600 is completely useable on it). The lenses are the same.

I have both the GS and now the black GT model. The dial on top for film speed setting on both goes to ASA 1000. Only real difference is the hot shoe.
