Today I acquired a Electro GSN. The shutter fires nicely but there is a problem with the red and orange arrows. When I depress the shutter slightly the red arrow illuminates regardless of aperture. On depressing the shutter further down the orange light then goes on or it doesnt (indicating ok aperture setting I guess). When both the red and orange lights go on the light is often flickering and I hear a buzzing electrical sound. My Electro GS behaves normally and only one of the lights can illuminate for any given aperture setting, not both as with the GSN. The battery is an original mercury battery and I have tried the other mercury battery from my Electro GS and there is no difference. Both batteries seem to work well. Does anyone know what the problem is and how I possibly can fix it? Any help is much appreciated.

I get the same problem with mine. Someone suggested it was just dirty contacts, and if I work the shutter a bit it does seem to improve things. I suspect it might just need cleaned.
As far as I can tell, mine still exposes properly, and the buzzing, etc is intermittent.

I have the same problem with the GSN. This must be and endemic problem with this model. I have a Lynx and a GT that work great.

Yeah, I still use film...
It sounds like a combination of dirty contacts and maybe a bad POD...
