I have noticed on Ebay that several vendors in HK are selling other electronic remote shutter releases that they claim to work in the Xpan 2. Have any of your folks tried these? Any advice? I would like to get one even though I can use a mechanical release.

I have started shooting my Xpan again after about 4 years of it sitting in a case. I am experimenting with the Rollei IR 400 and put my first 2 rolls thru it today. One black & white at ISO 400 and the other with a Hoya R72 and trying ISO 400, 25 and 25 +1ev (for ISO 12) to see which works the best. Since the camera meter sensor is on the shutter I made the assumption that at ISO 400 it would compensate for the 5 stop reduction caused by the R72 IR filter but I could just be having a senior moment and really need to set the ISO to 25. Still it is an experiment and I will process the film next week to see.

Has anyone else been actively shooting the IR 400 film? Any advice?

Thanks
