Hello,
somebody gave me, along with a Minolta XG-M, a couple of lens in Konica mount, out of which a mysterious and huuuuge (58mm filter) Elicar 28/2.8. Having also a Sun 70-150, I can't decide whether I'm going to sell both lenses or buy an Autoreflex, which get pricey those days.
Anybody knows about Elicar? Any test anyone? The lens in itself is magnificiently built and was a splendid leather-and-velvet pouch, is the picture quality equivalent?
Thanks a lot!

It is quite a peculiar lens, I cant find a sample of it anywhere. why not do a test shoot ? I saw a reference that Elicar lens are OEM and branded as Vivitar /Soligor, so here's some sample from the Vivitar, whether it' true or not I have no idea.

Some say it's a rebranded Panagor. It's big in any case (see pics). I can't test it because I don't have any Konica camera, the lens came with a set a friend gave me, he visibly used to have an autoreflex but later changed.
It seems to be such a rarity that no one knows of it. I should try Steven Gandy...
