Over the last decade , I have been trying to work out how ASd affects my picture taking .
A camera helps me to ''filter '' and '' contain '' small elements of an out of phase world .,.. and the fixed window of a rangefinder helps enormously
But it also spills out into general '' being in the confusion '' , in that I can now see in fragments '' snapshots '' , more and more , I am constantly framing - which helps me not to se the details / construction which would otherwise create anxiety of '' what is that '' etc .
This thought dee-rived from my dee-cision to have three simplified black Kievs kreated for me ; a K 2 , a K3 and a K 4 .
Al in black , all without self timer or flash socket , KNeb on the K2 and K 3 , and no name on the K 4 . Also plain accessory shoes and no numbers / CCCP writing .
I am constantly lost in these dee-tails , I can't see past them , My best camera is a K 3 '' KNeB '' with just a number on the access shoe .
Yet I sense that the k 4 is more right - maybe 'cos it resembles an early SLR with '' pentaprism '' .
However , this elimination of as much '' not sameness '' as possible will enable me just to be intriuged by the different shapes in the same family.
And to adopt and use them all .
I know that this is '' silly '' , but I love using my K 4m and K 4 - so this will be a way of setting me up for , hopefully , a remaining lifetime / lifeline with my new old friends .
I am pleased that i now realise that my head is causing anxiety which real people do not encounter - and that , from Leica II '' pretenders '' and my Kievs , I can accommodate that dee-ference .
