Elmar 5cm/3.5 lens flare?

Or perhaps it's an eternal light leak? I recently had some photos developed from my IIIC and I'm not sure if what I'm seeing is a result of some inner problems with the camera, or perhaps some lens flare from light hitting the unprotected lens (since I don't have a hood). In any case, I'm sending the camera to Youxin Ye next week for a CLA, but I wanted to post a couple photos anyway to get opinions. I'm disappointed because I liked quite a few from this roll.

I'm guessing something causing the second curtain to drag a little, causing an area of overexposure.

Is that the Brattle Book Shop in the first frame? I love that place.

yep, it looks like curtain problems. Send it to check tension.

That does not look like any lens-flare that I'm familiar with.

Looks more like an issue with the camera body - curtain lag, or a light-leak...

It looks like the curtains are slowing down for part of the frame, then resuming normal speed.
