Dear Edyta,
I and my fellows at the Rangefinderforum.com die to know if
you offer new photocells, recalibration and servicing of
cells to selenium cameras too. Obviously provided that
related mechanical parts are not damaged.
In my case I am talking about a Yashica LYNX 1000, in fact
two of them.
Thank you in advance,
Ruben

Dear Edyta,
Following my email a few moments ago, I would like to ask a
technical question:
After you have replaced a cell, calibrated and serviced a
device, let's say an Euro-Master, WILL THE METER READINGS BE
EQUAL TO THOSE OF A GOOD WORKING DIGITAL METER ? (OF COURSE
WITHIN THE LIMITS THE SELENIUM METER WAS DESIGNED FOR).
Kindly do whatever is needed to give me an accurate answer.
Thanks you again,
Ruben

Dear Ruben
We can supply you with almost any size of selenium photocell, however, we do not repair or recalibrate any cameras, as we are not familiar with them. We do repair and recalibrate all the Weston and Euromaster exposure meters. After we have matched the photocell to the movement of the meter, replaced it and recalibrated the instrument - it will show you values as good as a new instrument. We own the original Weston instrument calibration equipment, thus the instruments are repaired and recalibrated to the original Weston standards. I cannot say how good are the digital meters you mention in your email.
I hope this answer both your emails.
Kind regards
Edyta Love
