Picked up a nice used Saunders easel w/ slots for 5x7, 8x10 and 11x14. Its 1 inch base works perfectly w/ my Focomat's autofocus.
The issue is: I find it nearly impossible to enlarge at a proper size corresponding paper proportion. When raising/lowering the enlarger head my image always too large or very small and the parallelogram moves the image on the board. It does not stay in 1 place on the board but moves with the head's movement.
What am I missing?
