epson 1400 vs. canon 9000

so i was saving up for a printer and was considering getting a canon 9000. today, while at a local computer store, i found a bnib epson 1400 printer that they're selling for $150.

now, retail of 9000 is something like 500$ and best price i've seen is still 350$. is it worth $200 over this epson? looking at some reviews online they seemed comparable, could someone give a real life opinion?

only interested in printing colour, up to 13x19, will use on a mac and ps3.
