Hi, can anyone give me a rough idea of the ink consumption per sq meter printing at 720x720 on the epson 7800, I'm trying to price some stuff out and the range I'm seeing online makes me wonder if anyone actually knows the answer to this.
Cheers

I remember when we got our 9800 at work the tech guy said it was around $15 per square meter. I don't know if that was per ink or all eight though.
You can print a history of the ink consumption throught the status monitor tho work out how much ink was used on the last 10 or so prints.

i charge $30 per square foot if the image is print-ready. i think the standard is actually $15/square foot but i don't really like printing for other people so i charge a lot more.
i have found the epson software estimate to be pretty imprecise, but i can't substantiate that, it just doesn't seem very accurate.
i will say though that these 220ml cartridges go on a lot longer than they say they will. i can have one showing up as almost empty and continue for another 20 prints, sometimes more.
