I have been scanning 35mm, 120 and 5x4 negatives with my V850 Pro with great results for about a year.
All of a sudden a few months ago I noticed my scans were not as sharp as they should be.
I've since definitively ruled out any camera issue and am certain it's the scanner. I've tried raising and lowering the negs in their holders, scanning flat against the glass, raising the negs with secondary pieces of glass, all sorts.. I just can't get acceptably sharp images from it!
Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I'm almost ready to throw the thing out the window.
Thank you!

You are making sure that the settings in the software are correctly set to film with film holder when using the holders and film with film area guide when scanning directly off the glass bed, correct? I always double check right before I start the scan to make sure this hasn't somehow gotten changed.
