Hey guys, I just bought an Epson r-d1 last week. Sometimes when I take a photo and preview it on the LCD, the screen produces black blotches on parts of the image which looks to me like its blocking flared up parts or something. The images are fine and the LCD is fine so I assume this is a function of the camera itself? Does anyone have the same results? The black blotches? Anyway that I can remove that? And can anyone tell me what is its purpose? Thanks!

Your LCD must be in highlight display mode i guess. See User's Guide page 36
