guys
i use V370 for about a year due price and size. i still can bring it on travel.
if i use the default application, i notice this:
- exif data not contain scanner info, only date creation
- i cant open the file created with Nik SE
any idea to fix this issue?

i also try vuescan, purchased about $100 but not too satisfied, any other recommendation?

thx

The default application that ships with all EPSON scanners, EPSONscan, has 3 different operational modes and a number of configuration options. I've used it for well over a decade and always found that it did a very good job.

I'm not aware of any method to make EPSONscan change what EXIF data is embedded in the files, though the available info may vary with your choice of file format used to save the scan.

I suggest that you use the "Professional Mode" for your scans and opt to save in TIFF format (DO NOT USE "Multi-TIFF") to get the best quality and the best compatiblility with image editing applications. The other format options are great for their intended purposes, but if you intend to edit the images after the scan TIFF is the hands-down best choice.
