Hi all,
I printed this in the darkroom from a mamiya 7 neg. It looks great in my hand....crazy sharp! The birds areall well defined and you can see each blade of grass. I scanned it t both 300 and 1200 dpi on the v700. Not a vrey good result.
Used both 48 bit color and 16bit greyscale..both looked equally as bad
any tricks to this?

I don't have this scanner (yet) but I've been reading about it. Don't you have to scan at a really high DPI for the higher resolution lens to kick in?
Did you do a USM in Photoshop?
