I'm trying to find out if the flash needs to be on or even attached for the sca adapter to function in daylight photography. Like if fill flash would be distracting! Because it doesn't matter what my field brightness is, the flash always goes off even when obviously not required for the exposure variables of the scene. I'm hoping the computer/mcu in the sca adapter will power the light sensor on the body on its own to select the correct exposure.
So, if you have knowledge please share it?
