After a afternoon of shooting a few films, I went to (possibly) last photoshop that sells films here in my home town. I ask if they have b&w film and at what price.
They show me several apx 100 (35mm) and say that each film is 7.5€!!!😱 And after asking the price of t-max professional and of the 120mm films that they have (mainly fp+ and hp5+), the person respond that all is 7.5€.
Elite chrome and agfa color film and I think all the color film was also the same price...

Thats similar to the film prices where I live (Iceland) they are from 7-9€
I usually order from overseas in large quantities 2-3 times a year.

Know what? They didn't pay this much for that film, and they're gouging remaining film users. My latest curmudgeonly move is when I decide not to buy something because it's overpriced and I'm being gouged, I shake my head, wave my hand, and look the vendor in the eye and tell them I'm not buying because their price is too high.

Point is, hopefully you let them know it.

I did this very thing yesterday in a mall where I had lunch with a coworker. As we were leaving, I walked past a well-known pretzel place and thought it would make a nice dessert. I asked how much for a pretzel. $2.50 - for one. Ridiculous price for a clump of twisted up baked dough. Other places sell these for like $0.50 apiece. Figured in a mall - a buck, a buck-fifty even? Fine wit dat. $2.50?

Intentionally made a "are you kiddin' me?" face at the woman, almost laughed, hand waved her - shook my head walked away.

More consumers need to do this kinda thing, me thinks, when they're being gouged.

Well having followed the thread linked above (it's for Australia) a while, I'm not sure it's the local guy who does the price-gouging. In a place like Iceland, where everything other than fish is imported, I could see it's not in their hands at all. Portugal, no idea.

For the OP, there's an online shop in Spain that I just learned about here on RFF (forget which thread) http://www.foto-r3.com

No, it's the local shop owner! That shop was always expensive in all the ways. I think he still have a nikon fe selling for the come out price, but I am not sure and may be doing a bit of bad judgemnt.
But, bulk apx 100 are around ebay, I bought mine a few years ago for 20€, I think. Online shops here, in Portugal sell apx at 2.50, I think. Tri-X at 4.20, ektar at 6€ (was 5, but with the IVA tax going to 23%, prices rise), Tmax at 4.20 also, etc. So, even paying transport, it's very cheaper insted of going to my city shops.
