As many of you are aware, I work overnights at a hotel and Wednesday night and Thursday night are my weekend. So the other morning was, essentially, "Friday at 5". I took an hour to make the 5 minute drive home this morning

with my HD DA 15/4 Limited mounted on my equally new to me K-3 mk 1. A bunch of shots, a handful that had a least some interest (the first actually from a couple of days before but the same lens so included here - love the little moon in it) as I learn how to more effectively use what is to me a quite wider lens than I am used to. Traditionally 28 was my preferred wide angle and this is just enough wider to notice.

The old red barn shows the classic perspective issues - I knew it would - but I was curious to see exactly how it would look and I found it kind of fun.

The field with the homes to the center and left? And the old hanger on the right? A lifetime ago, a little boy I once was took his first plane ride out of that grass strip in a yellow (of course it was yellow, they were all yellow!) Piper J3 Cub. I can still see it flying there even if you can't.

The frozen creek went by my grandmother's house near there.

Finally the flamingos said it was warmer here that morning than in Florida ... 🤣 IMGP0125.jpgIMGP0134.jpgIMGP0136.jpgIMGP0138.jpgIMGP0140.jpgIMGP0142.jpgIMGP0145.jpgIMGP0148.jpgIMGP0153.jpg
