I wanted to share my experience having the connecting electronic ribbon repaired in my GA 645zi. As you may know, it often gets pinched and results in the back LCD being unreadable. On mine, you could only just read the top line. I had read online that FotoTech in Poland does the repair. They have two offices, and I was physically at the one in Krakow this summer while traveling around Europe. They had agreed to do it during my brief stay, but then I realized their very limited opening hours made it impossible to retrieve the camera before my flight out, so I left it and they were going to mail it to me. It took them about 6 weeks to do the job, and emails were not their strong suit, but one day out of the blue the package arrived and the LCD is perfectly visible again. It's expensive ($399) but they did a good job. I once had a 645zi but sold it before buying this one, and I'll never make that mistake again.
