If you feel like sharing, please use this thread to post a self portrait, so we can put faces to the names of the folks we talk with here at RFF. :)

Frank, is that you in your avatar?

I'm not like my avatar... as you will see! :)

BTW, it was done with a RF camera. Just in case you wondered...

Thanks for your post, Francisco. My avatar shows what I will look like in 30 years. It's my father.

My avatar is a scan of a portrait of me taken by Bruno of Hollywood in 1961. I have been looking at myself in the mirror every day since and can assure you that I have seen no change. Well, my hair has grayed somewhat and I have grown a van dyke, but otherwise thats me.

HERE is a portrait of mine taken a few months back (with my then 1+ month old daughter).

Come on Frank... I'd thought you'd at least start us with with a shot of yourself :)

I'll post the pic of Frank I took with the Serenar 50/1.9... his eyes are closed, but.. better than nothing.

This is me twenty years ago. Seeing as it is the birthday of the Marine Corps, I thought it appropriate. Whether you like it or not, suckers.

Semper Fi,

Bill Mattocks

Ah, I always felt more secure with an M-60, too.

30 years ago at the evacuation of Saigon. Only photo I have from that day. I guess I need to sit down and restore it.

Here I am when I was still shooting digital. It was taken last year, but not much has changed...I'm still ugly.

OK, I found one. This is almost a year ago. This was my birthday with family and friends. If you look closely at the cakes you can read my age (but I ain't telling), and read that they say 'Bite Me' and 'Eat Me' (my wife's humor).

:)

I found the nearest mirror...the bathroom of the Goldsboro News-Argus at which I am currently employed as their youngest ever staff photog. Or thats what they tell me anyway. Have a laugh :D
