Fair price for a Pentax Analogue Spotmeter?

ok i have been offered a pentax spotmeter for arond $75 NZ which is probably 50 bucks US....i this a good deal?

Also do these things decrease with accuracy with time?.....logically they shouldnt because they run on batteries but you never know till you ask

That sounds like a really good deal. I paid $100 for a Spotmeter V with a small crack in the casing. Which model is it?

Not sure about the effects of time - mine seems to be "spot-on" taking a grey-card reading in full sun at mid-day. It is now my reference meter for comparing others. Make sure you use silver-oxide batteries, not alkaline (if it is the V - not sure what batteries the earlier ones take).

Edit: Just checked KEH - US$245 for a Spotmeter V in EX condition.

That sounds good to me, too. They are higher than that on EBay. The digitals much higher.
