Fair trade? Zuiko macro for 50mm f1.2

Zuiko 50mm f2.0 Macro for Zuiko 50mm f1.2 for the Olympus OM system.

I have the Macro lens and I don't really like the ergonomics so I'm thinking of going for the 50mm f1.2 lens..

Do you think this is a fair trade?

Its a decently fair trade. But it depends on what you like to shoot and the rendering you like of course. Weight and size wise, there is not much difference. For low light the 50 1.2 will be great. I have both. I find the 50 f/2 macro to be special in the OM lens lineup. The bokeh is just luscious even at f/2 for portraits.

Judging from prices; i'd say you'd be getting the better part of the deal..

but that all varies on condition of each lens.

Can't say much for the ergonomics of either, but I can't really think of a downside..!

If you can do without the close focussing capabilities (or have any macro extenders), you should be fine.
The faster aperture will help you in dimly lit conditions and for achieving a thinner depth of field at normal distances.
