If you haven't done so yet, and if you still can, talk to your father today!

On the other end, here's my Father's Day breakfast.

Please post photos of your Father's Day.

Actually Raid, my father and I are in different towns separated by 200 miles. I telephoned him this morning and later emailed him some photos. The breakfast was made by my daughter. I'm in that blessed state where I am both a father and still a son.

My oldest daughter came and spent the night so she could fix me special omlets with free range bacon, and share Vietnamese coffee with me. Nice indeed. The youngest daughter, son-in-law, and grandson will be over later.

My own father passed away some 50 years ago. He had two loves besides his family; photography and music. I guess you could say I honor him with my own interest in photography. Because of him I have an interest listening to all types of music, but couldn't carry a tune in a bucket.

We enjoy what/who we still have with us.
This is the day during which fatherhood is being honored.
I miss my father, and being away from my birthplace for 26 years made losing my parents different than living close to them.
