Before having to go out on the road for the week, I took my son to Madison's children's museum. It's a glorious place for a kid to play and learn.

Anyway, I'm chasing him around with my ZI Contessa (a roll of Reala in it at the time...   just try ISO 100 & 45/2.8 indoors. Thankfully many rooms have windows which let in a decent amount of extra light so some of them may come out. (I forgot my flash at home... argh.) My son began playing with a little girl & as I turned to see where he was I noticed her father was chasing her with a Hassy & a nice potato masher flash (w/softbox). We spent awhile talking about cameras, discovered we both do LF though we both agree that 8x10 is just too expensive until all children have graduated from university... :D and in general bored his wife silly

No great importance to it, it was just nice to see someone shooting 1) film & 2) 220 at that & 3) a nice older Hassy kit being used. If it weren't for that exquisite Miniature Speed Graphic I now have, I might have regretted letting a different Hassy go after seeing him today :)

I did tell him about this place. He's been here before when he owned a Koni-Omega, hopefully he'll come back.
