So! Boston seems to have been having a tough time getting together! January seems to be a wash, and since I can't make any Sunday for the rest of the month anyway, I'm going ahead and proposing that we meet in February, specifically on Sunday the 12th, as after that is two weekends of school vacation, etc. etc.
So... who can make it on Sunday the 12th around 2pm? We'll plan to have it somewhere in Brookline, perhaps the Abbey on Beacon Street in Washington Square as Harry and I had discussed, though I'm open to other options. Parking there is pretty painless on a Sunday, not to mention free.
So... who's in? They have an excellent Cuban Sandwich...

I probably am, but will not be able to positively commit until the week before.

So we're all set to meet at the Abbey in Brookline for Sunday February 12th at around 2pm. We'll need a good idea of the number a few days ahead of time, so please voice your yea or nay in the thread between now and then.

Alright now... who else is in?

There were about a dozen folks who signed up for the subsequently aborted meeting set for 15 Jan. Surely some of you must be available for this latest attempt at a meet-up. C'mon, let's hear from you!

I'll chirp. My name is Ed. I live in the seacoast region of New Hampshire, and at this point I expect to be able to make it, though I won't know for sure I'll be able to until next week. Family and work get priority over stuff like this for me.
I know quite a few San Fransisco RFF'ers from attending a meetup out there a few years ago, while traveling for work. I've never met anybody from around here, close to home.

We are a bit lame, huh? Meanwhile, the NYC meeting sounds like quite the party.
Sorry, can't make it. But what became of the April meeting in Lowell that was suggested in the old thread?

I expect if more folks see the thread then more will be able to attend... I think New York has been going regularly for a while, and we need to build a little momentum here. I think the meetings are fun, so hopefully we can get something going.
The April meet in Lowell sounds interesting, for sure... I think we wait for more details from Rich?

I will do my best to make it. I will even write it in on my calendar (albeit with a question mark next to it).
If I can make it, I will bring some doo-dads that I don't need: M3-style film advance lever, orange filter (43mm), etc.

Sounds good. I can also bring a few doo-dads, but just for people to try out, if there is any interest. My new M9-P is always with me. There is also the M7, the Hexar RF and a bunch of M lenses. Maybe I'll have the Canonet QLIII back from repair. I'll bring that as well if anyone expresses a specific interest here.
I do need all of my doo-dads.

You know what else I'll bring? All the postcards I've received from the RFF postcard project, for everyone to take a look at. It's a nice collection!

Thanks for the pm Harry... Somehow I missed the link to this thread with the new date. I probably won't be able to make it, but I'd like to leave my option open. It's about a 2 hour drive for me from Wellfleet.
