I just received my new Fed 50 F3.5 in the mail from Fedka today, it's basically perfect except for one slight issue. On my M3 with an adapter, mounting the lens locked at infinity (the only practical way to do so), the focus lever scrapes against the collar around the lens release button. It doesn't get totally stuck and slides out with a bit of pressure, but I'd rather not force it more than I have to.
Has anyone else had this issue with their M of similar vintage? And if so, are there any possible DIY solutions to make it function better? As much as I admire FSU glass, I'd prefer not damage an expensive camera with a cheap lens.

I've run into this before with my Industar 22. I think the answer is to mount the lens while it is set to it's minimum focus. Awkward but it works. Once you get it there you have what should be a fine 50mm in a very small package. Good Luck. Joe
