Dear Board,
I had purchased a Pentax ES-ll back in early March from Ebay. The camera was beautiful, about 95% of new in appearance, but it was deader than a stone. Manual functions worked, and the shutter seemed to be reasonably accurate, but the meter and all electronics were DOA.
Based on board member's recommendations it made a trip to TN to visit with Eric Hendrickson. Today I received a totally refurbished brand-new 50-year-old camera in the mail. Now it works just as well as it looks, and I look forward to many years of use.
Thank you all again for the repair recommendation. Now I just have to send my black ME Super off for a refurb.
