I have and use a number of FILCA film cassettes for my screw Leicas all marked Ernst Leitz Wetzlar Germany. Today I was given 2 by a friend. However neither have any markings except for the "Z" on top of the inner shell and the spool is different than my other FILCA's.
Are these 2 genuine Leica products or aftermarket??

I have been collecting a few dozen cassettes lately, mostly M though. There were a few lucky finds of mint condition almost unused ones. Others have mixed spools and shells so different designs were made over time. Previous owners made no attempt to keep everything together or Leitz used old stock when changeovers were made. The important part is they all work perfectly together.
Look at Roger and Frances website for the other manufacturers models.

Are the two "new" cassettes the same length as your old ones? The later Leitz ones (and copies) are 2.2 mm shorter and will fit in screw Leicas: but the film will ride lower in the body and exposures will not be precisely the same distance from both edges.

They are identical to the others including length that I have except that they have no markings whatsoever.

I have one FILCA cassette with no markings (except the "Z"). It came with a batch of IXMOO from a less-than-scrupulous ebay seller. It also lacks the correct spool. I'd give it to you but the postage would be more than the value of the cassette!
