Can anyone provide info on filing an LTM to M adapter to change which framelines are brought up? To get 50 framelines on an M2 would you start with a 35 or a 90 adapter? Where to file on the adapter?

Thanks everyone for any info or a link to the info.

start with a 90mm adapter and file the side cam gradually and step by step till the 50mm lens lines appear.
truthfully though, you are better off trading the 90mm adapter with someone for the 50mm one.

The attached image shows the bayonet side of two adapters, the 35/135 on the left, the 28/90 on the right. The red arrows show the notch that brings up the frame lines. The length of the notch for the 50/75 is somewhere in between.

As you can see, the differences are quite small, so you have to exercise caution filing down a 28/90 so that you don't overshoot and end up with the 35 framelines..
