I will be celebrating my 50th birthday next week Friday. I am impatiently waiting for an M6 LHSA model for me play with. My family decided that it would be fun to torture me and confiscated it until my actual birthday.
First thing I intend to do is replace the film advance lever. I have already acquired the MP black paint lever and I am awaiting delivery of the clamp wrench needed.
Please give any advice you have concerning the replacement of the lever. I have seen a YouTube video on a CLA of an M6 and seems to be a simple endevour. Please correct me if I am wrong. Send any and all advise and tips you have my way.

Sure seems like it on the video. Looks can be deceiving sometimes. Anything in particular to avoid. Look out for?

Just be gentle. These are beautifully built cameras but they don't suffer fools, especially the M3.
Be very careful with the ring clamp. Even though they are a good fit it can still damage or distort the retaining nut.
