Just out of curiosity, how many camera manufacturers are still making new film cameras? I can think of three, offhand: Leica, Nikon and Vivitar. Are there any others?

Oh, yes, Fujifilm just announced a new folding MF film camera, for about $2190.00 if memory serves.

Thanks to all who reply.

With best regards,

So far as I know, Vivitar is out of the 35mm camera game. Their (Cosina made) SLR is no longer in their catalog, and even Amazon only lists old stock.

Deardorff, KB Canham and several other view camera makers, Hasselblad makes a film back as I understand for the H6 body and I believe the HY6 Rollei is back in production. Leica, Cosina may be the only 35's.

Medium Format
Alpa
Silvestri

Large Format
Chamonix
Ritter
Svedovsky
Cassiopeia
Wilderness
Gaoersi
Walker (Harman Titan)

Too bad Rollei went under. I don't even use one, but I miss the feeling of solidarity and continuity with the past when I know that an old brand are still in production. And now Nikon is in trouble?

For the Fujifilm folder, got to B&H and have a look.

The Fuji GF670? That was introduced several years ago and discontinued not too many years later. B&H keeps "finding" new old stock to sell. I'd love to own one but it seems each batch is more expensive than the previous one.
