I don't know if anyone else has photos of film locations but please post here if you do. These are the Carolina Apartments in Wilmington NC, the location for Dorothy's apartment in Blue Velvet.
 
Mission San Juan Bautista, CA. The bell tower where a mysterious blonde took the plunge and led her smitten suitor to vertiginous mental ruin was actually a matte painting, otherwise it's exactly as it was.



The livery stables, where the protagonist would say

"...And it's a all real...
Not merely as it was a hundred years
ago. As it was a year ago, or six
months ago, whenever you were here
to see it...."

The Continental Hotel in Saigon, Vietnam, where Graham Greene drank his whiskey on the terrace and where several scenes of the Quiet American -with Michael Caine, were shot.

Very interesting! I'll be arriving in Saigon on Christmas Day and will try not to fall off the Continental Shelf ;)
