Film or Digital on Caribbean Cruise

I'm leaving for a Caribbean cruise in about an hour and have been driving myself crazy trying to decide whether to take my DSLR or MP camera. Everytime I think I've made a decision I change my mind. I finally decided I can't leave my MP at home & decided to take it and also bring a digital P&S with me as a compromise. Do you think I made the right choice.

Sure take both, The ship won't sink with a kilo or so extra.

dslr + mp should accompany you on your trip along with a suitable array of lenses - it's the lens choice which could prove troublesome!!
