A photographer I work with told me of a place that intrigued me. The story goes like this:
In the mid 90's, he visited the Ansel Adams Centre in San Francisco while it was still operational. He asked them where they had their prints made, and they directed him to a large facility in SF.
He described it as being like 'a supermarket' with checkout lanes for different film types, like neg, slide, and black and white. Unfortunately, he doesn't remember the name. It sounded incredibly cool, and I'd like to know if this rings a bell with anyone.
