Hallo!
I have ordered my X100 but it will take some time until I get it. What about filters - is it possible to attach a filter in front of the lens for protection and effects. If so - what is the dimension and can ordinary filters be used?
Appreciate your comments on this!

The X100 features an ND filter that is implemented in hardware and that can be activated via the camera menu. Additionally, the camera features a number of software-implemented filter functions as part of its in-camera film simulation: Yellow, red and green.
In its standard scope of delivery, the X100 does not allow mounting filters. You can buy an optional AR-X100 adapter ring that contains a 49mm filter thread. This adapter ring is also needed if you want to attach the optional bayonet-mount LH-X100 metal lens hood.
