Hi all!!!
i bougth a filter for my 35/2.5 C Color Skopar Classic but it doesn' t allow me to put the hood wich came with it. Were can i buy one that will allow me to put the hood.
thamk you!!!

Hoya and B+W filters will both fit inside Voigtlander's round shades that come with the lens. Mine probably came from B&H Photo in New York.

This sounds strange. I haven't had a problem with any filter on the Color Skopar. Is there a dent on the hood, maybe?

I use 39mm B+W's and they fit for me. I have to unscrew the ring-type hood before attaching the filter, but am able to put the ring back on again after attaching the filter.

I use these filters on the CV 35/2.5 Color Skopar Classic, the CV 50/2.5 Color Skopar, and the CV 21/4 Color Skopar.

I don't have the lens here so I can't see exactly what it looks like, but the hood isn't supposed to be screwed on the filter, but on the lens itself (after you screwed the filter on).

I've only found this problem with 39 mm Kood filters and the 21/4, 25/4, 50/2.5 CV lenses, where the filter mount appears to be fractionally too thick to fit inside the hoods. (The hoods aren't distorted in any way on any of the three lenses.) Hoya, B+W and Heliopan filters seem to be fine although there's very little (if any) clearance between the filter and the hood.

I'm using the a B+W filter that fits nicely even with the hood on. As previously posted, you have to unscrew the hood first, screw on the filter, then screw on the hood.

I too have found that all of my B+W, Heliopan and Leica filters fit without any problems, but I have had problems with other makes of filters. This problem can occur with any of the Voigtlander lenses not just the 35mm.

I've got two suggestions if you cannot find a filter that fits.
1) You could either purchase a 39mm vented hood such as the ones that can be found on eBay. These screw into the filter thread so don't suffer the same problem.
2) You could fit and remove filters without removing the hood using one of these:

I use B&W filters on the chrome version; unscrew shade, screw in filter, replace shade. No trouble.

Any more, I pretty much use just a UVa for protection and leave it there, it's a pretty contrasty lens as it is.

Yeah, I've had the same problem with 25/4, 35/2.5 and now 28/3.5. Doesn't really matter to me though because I don't like using those hoods. They only seem to cut the flare in the very top of the photo, giving a sharp line across the top of the frame where the flare comes back in.

The 28/3.5 seems to have shallower threads though, the filter I have won't screw all the way in.

Had the same problem with a 35/2.5. Neither Hoya nor Tiffen filters would allow the hood to fit. A finally found a B&W that allowed the hood to attach. I think Cosina's tolerances for the inside dimensions of that hood are all over the place and it varies from hood to hood.

The red, yellow, orange 39mm Hoya and Leitz filters I had on my 35/2.5 worked fine. I sold them however because I didn't think they were necessary on the lens.
